what's your mode of transport?
mine is the sun. when it rises dripping from the sea when it falls like honey on the trees when it swallows up clouds my soul moves with it.
mine is you.

as usual, i was wrong. kinda sad really. this always happens. LTC seriously rocked my socks off. i mean, i met great people (Treebeard!! i love you guys!!), not to mention great facilitators who, on a personal level, taught me a lot on what being a leader was all about. i think that one of the most important lessons taught was that as a leader, i needed to learn to be forgiving. to learn that everyone makes mistakes once in a while. for the accident-prone, of course it's intolerable. but for some mistakes, i think it's better to learn from them rather than pin-pointing blame which is ultimately useless. common sense you say? yearh, i suppose so, but many of us, even the best of us, need to be reminded of this once in a while. i really hope to come back to the LTC next year as a facil so that i'll be able to teach the next batch of trainies some of the lessons learnt. i think that the new friendships that i've forged during the whole 4 days would be able to stand of time. at least, i really hope so anyway. +++ i used to carry the weight of the world but now all i wanna do is spread my wings and fly don't know why i was so afraid everytime. -chantel kreviazuk |
