what's your mode of transport?
mine is the sun. when it rises dripping from the sea when it falls like honey on the trees when it swallows up clouds my soul moves with it.
mine is you.

ohkay. so we didn't manage to beat SA today.. 2-0. oh well. it's okay. it's our first and hopefully last loss in the tournament. they had a lot at stake with a title to defend while we newbies had nothing to lose. but not bad. i'm really really proud of the team. with the last match against National JC on saturday, it doesn't matter if we lose or win the match cos we've secured 2ND OVERALL in the tourney!!! wahh.. damn happy.. especially since we nyjc soccerettes only started out in like May this year with NO proper full-time coach (with just Ms Audrey who supported us all the way teaching us basics and Coach Ian from the boys' team occasionally coaching us and not forgetting our self-appointed coaches from J2- jerry & edward), NO school recognition (to the extent where we were afraid to put the school's name on our jerseys in case we got into trouble with the admin), and with most of us in the team having very very little experience in soccer let alone playing in a real match. so yearh, i'm really proud. ecstatic. happy. and kinda humbled that we've come so far. (: ++ in other news... there's a PEEPING TOM in school!!!! oh my gosh. it's so freaky. there was this girl who was changing in the toilet when she saw a guy taking a picture of her changing with his camera phone through one of the ventilation vents in the cubicle. gosh! how sick is that? the pervert. throughout the whole day, the girls' toilet was seriously overcrowded since none of us wanted to leave anyone alone in the toilet. and the ventilation vents were totally stuffed with tissue paper to prevent more peeping toms out there from getting any ideas. some people think that it's one of the male janitors. But most of them are so old that i don't think that they actually know how to use a handphone, let alone a camera phone in the first place. so yearh. in conclusion. there are some sick people in nanyang. kinda makes school life less boring. ahahh.. and promos is coming! i haven't even started revising! so dead. i still have 3 history lecture notes ques due, an econs presentation which i haven't started, damn project work, a history project which is due soon, literature bks which i'm not even halfway done reading, and having no idea how to study for GP since the notes are kinda useless. great. just great. to make things worse, the councillors are supposed to teach the J1s 2 folk dances which were not, i repeat NOT, thought of by us but by the PE dept teachers to do on ACES day. i mean, seriously, folk dances? i think the teachers have simply too much time on their hands. i guess screaming at us running oh-so-slowly around the track isn't enough for them. sigh. |
