you just might make me believe

what's your mode of transport?
mine is the sun.
when it rises dripping from
the sea when it falls like honey on
the trees when it swallows up
clouds my soul moves with it.

mine is you.
when you lift your eyes
when you look straight ahead
when you try to speak my
heart moves with you.

wham bam thank you ma'am

bop to the top
right, so here i am, bleary-eyed, just woke up, in my shorts and pyjamas, gonna be going through another darn day of mugging, history and lit this time (..what? u think lit's just simply reading books? think again man. there's all this memorizing quotes and remembering who did what and when and why.. geez. just thinking about it gives me a freaking headache. wharh. talk about cranky in the morning.)

and probably the only thing that actually kept me sane throughout the whole exam period last few days was watching Rockstar Supernova (thank GOD for SCV) on StarWorld. too bad it's already ended though.

for those who have yet to taste the benefits of cable tv, it's actually about this awesome band, Supernova (consisting of rock legends Tommy Lee, Gilby Clark from Guns 'N Roses, and Jason from Metalicca) who are in searh of a frontman for their band- with the help of Dave Navarro from The Panic Channel (my favourite of the judges like EVER) and the millions of voters watching the show worldwide.

Oh, and the contestants have such immense real raw TALENT to the point where you can't believe that they're even contestants. they're so good that ALL of them can cut record deals whether or not they win the competition.

485268 gazillion times better than Singapore Idol.

So here's a video from my all-time favourite Rockstar contestant, Storm Large, who performed David Bowie's 'Suffragette City' with Dave Navarro (2 great performers on the same stage.. nothing could be any better than that) AND kicked some serious ass with her original, 'Ladylike'. That original has been ringing in my head ever since she performed it.. like when i did my econs paper the other day, i found myself humming the tune. It's that addictive.

Also, here's Toby Rand's you-can't-help-but-bang-your-head-against-the-wall original (same Supernova track as Storm Large's)- Throw It Away. It's seriously like insanely awesome.

yearh. and i must admit, Toby's super dashing to boot. ahahh.. EVS people.
